Youth Affairs minister launches Limbe City Council inter-quarter football tournament

The minister of Youth Affairs and Civil Education has launched the 2022 edition of the Limbe City Council inter-quarters football tournament dubbed "Fresh Edition".
The competition was launched at the Limbe Centenary Stadium on Wednesday, July 2022 by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Fotso.
The minister said the initiative falls in line with the Youth Holiday program recently launched by that ministry.
Minister Mounouna Fotso, used the occasions to caution youths against drug abuse and other harmful substances.
He also encouraged the youths to embrace the several programs designed by the government to incorporate youth into the development training.
While encouraging the Limbe City mayor for keeping the youths busy during the holiday, the youth Affairs minister handed financial support of 100000 FCAF and a trophy for the most Civic team in both categories.
The City mayor, Paul Ngale Efome said the tournament falls in line with the friendship and unity of the Limbe people.
The participating teams, we have gathered are drawn from all three subdivisions of Limbe.
On the day of the game, Bimbia-Bella Queens beat Best Stars FC 5-0 in the female category, while Church Street FC played a 1-1 tie with Middle Farms FC in the male category.
The launch was done under the watchful eyes of the Indomitable Lions player Fai Collins.
