Yaoundé: Nsimalen airport certified class A

On July 12, the Class A aerodrome certificate was handed up at a ceremony officiated by Transport Minister Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe. The Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA), which is governed by the International Civil Aviation Organization, granted this distinction (ICAO).
Paul Avomo Assoumou, the director general of the CCAA, claims that as a result of the approved airport's increased safety, the State's USOAP compliance rate has increased. It is obvious that increasing security enables the Yaoundé Nsimalen airport to currently satisfy international requirements.
The Minister declared that "any businesses who were reluctant to service Cameroon are now reassured."
