Yaoundé: explosion of a homemade bomb in the Damas neighborhood

On Monday, July 25, 2022, a homemade bomb detonated in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon, in the Damascus neighborhood. According to a number of accounts, the alleged device was concealed inside a suitcase.
This is not the first time a bomb has gone off in Yaoundé this month. On July 12, a homemade device detonated at Yaoundé's Mokolo market, injuring three persons. Young ladies between the ages of 20 and 30 make up the victims. After the incident that caused panic in this market of the capital, they were transferred to the Yaounde Emergency Center (CURY).
