UB students express discontent as invigilators shorten examination time

Some students of the University of Buea, in the Southwest region of Cameroon, have expressed discontentment as invigilators shortened their one-hour exam session.
According to sources, the English 102 resit which was normally supposed to be written on July 16, for an hour was written for just 35 minutes.
One of the students recounted, "we were to start writing from 1 to 2 pm at Amphi 750, but we were rather allowed to access the hall at 2.55" adding they delayed in sharing the papers and only started writing about 3 pm.
It is reported that the students quit the hall in tears since they were left with no other choice but to hand over their scripts despite having not written anything much.
