The written phase of the 2022 GCE session begins today

Updated: Jul 1, 2022

After burning the midnight candle for several years, the written phase of the Cameroon General Certificate Examination, CGCE organized by the GCE Board kicks off throughout the national territory, today June 28, 2022, in all the 483 accommodation centers.

Over 18,300 candidates at both the Ordinary Level and Advanced Level will be sitting for the examination. The practical part of the examination took place in May.

The GCE starts today with Economics paper 1 in the morning and Economics paper 2 in the afternoon.

With free periods in between, and the increase in the number of subjects, the examination would likely span over one week.

Education and administrative authorities in Kumba say all is set for a hitch-free kick-off of the examination.
