The corpse of senator Awanga Zachariah is to be removed from the mortuary today

The corpse of the late Senator Awanga Zachariah, who died in May, will be removed from the mortuary in Yaounde today 6th July 2022.

On Friday, 7 July, a funeral service will be held in his honor at PCC Nsimeyong, where he is worshipped as a CMF member.

Later in the evening, there will be a wake keep and viewing of the corpse in his compound.

On Friday 8 July, the corpse of Senator Awanga, who also founded the National Financial Credit Bank will leave Yaounde for his native Oshie, Momo Division in the Northwest Region for burial later.

He was a CPDM senator from 2013-2018 and was born in 1951.
