SW Regional Assembly to build a hotel to generate income
The South West Regional Assembly has announced plans to construct an ultra-modern hotel in the region to generate income.
He made the revelation in Buea on Wednesday 13 July 2022 during a session of the Regional Assembly, adding the project will be realized thanks to a one billion FCFA loan to the institution by the Special Council Support Fund for Mutual Assistance known as FEICOM.
Speaking later to the press, the president of the Regional House, Zacchaeus Elango Bakoma vowed the project will be realized to its fullest to ensure that the institution can generate its own income, adding the Regional councilors will be lodged at the hotel for a free while during recesses, councilors will be lodged at a reduced cost.
