Stolen baby found in Kumba

A baby stolen from a beauty salon in Douala, Cameroon's Litoral Region, has been found in Kumba Meme Division Southwest Region.

The unnamed baby was discovered by the police in the village of Ediki, along the Kumba-Buea road.

The baby was stolen from the beauty salon on October 6th, 2022.

After doing her hair, since the baby was sleeping, the mother decided to come back to collect her when she woke up from sleep.

When she came back she could not find her child. The police immediately mounted a manhunt, for the baby thief.

The baby was discovered in Ediki over the weekend. The police refused to provide any further details.

It is not clear whether the police apprehended the baby thief
