SG of the Southwest Regional House has been appointed

The Southwest Regional Delegate of Local Government and Decentralization has been appointed the Secretary-General of the Southwest Regional House.

Mebale Joseph's appointment was penned in a decree signed by President Paul Biya on Friday 18th June 2022.

Before his appointment as the Secretary-General of the Southwest Regional House, Mebale was the pioneer Southwest Delegate of Local Government and Decentralization.

Born in 1970, Mebale hails from Batengue Balue in Ndian Division Southwest Region.

The ministry of Decentralization and Local Government is one of the fallouts of the Grand National Dialogue that took in Yaounde in 2019.
