SDF: Honourable Barrister Mbanya appointed into NEC

"My appointment into NEC is a recognition of my commitment and attachment to the SDF," Barrister Mbanya.

Honourable Barrister Mbanya Bolivie has remarked that his appointment to the NEC by the SDF National Chairman is a recognition of his attachment, commitment and loyalty to the SDF

The National Chairman of the SDF John Fru Ndi on Wednesday 15th June 2022 in a broad-based cabinet shake-up within the SDF coopted honourable Barrister Mbanya as one of the two national legal advisers of NEC.

Honourable Mbanya was responding to an interview he granted this morning to a local radio station.

In the interview, Honorable Mbanya recalled that he has been a committed and dedicated militant of the SDF since its birthing in 1990.

Contrary to some political schools of thought that the SDF has lost its 1990 steam, Honorable Mbanya retorted saying such remarks come from some enemies of the party, adding the SDF is the only political party in Cameroon that regularly holds, local, regional and national meetings without any security.

He qualified the last elections in which the SDF lost the three councils in Kumba and the lone paliamentary seat as broad day robbery.

BiVoundi 24 News recalls that honorable Mbanya was an SDF member for Kumba urban constituency until February 2019, when he was allegedly beaten by CPDM incumbent honorable Lawson Bakia Tabot.

BiVoundi 24 News further recalls that heavy gunshots emanated the airwaves in Kumba on the day of the last elections forcing most of the opposition militants to stay indoors for fear of the unknown.

The Kumba urban paliamentary constituency incorporates Kumba Central, Kumba 1, Kumba 2, and Kumba 3 subdivisions.
