Rule of Law Index: Cameroon turns into a lawless zone and ranks 134th out of 140 countries

The World Justice Project (WJP) 2022 Rule of Law Index, according to a study on the rule of law released on Thursday, October 27, 2022, shows that the rule of law has fallen globally for the fifth year in a row. Cameroon was found to be six steps behind Venezuela, which is ranked 140th out of 140 nations, in the ranking. It goes without saying that Cameroon, which is currently ranked 136th, is fast becoming a lawless area.
Cameroon is ranked 33rd out of 34 nations in the sub-Saharan area of Africa. Rwanda, which is placed 42nd overall out of 140 countries, has the best performance in the area, followed by Mauritius and Namibia. Mauritania, Cameroon, and RDC are the three nations in the region with the lowest ratings (137th)
