President Volodimir Zelenski of Ukraine will be addressing the African Union

The African Union (AU) has decided to accept the request of Ukrainian President Zelenski and give him the opportunity to address the organization by video conference. This was reported Thursday by the Senegalese News Agency (APS), citing Senegalese President Macky Sall, who is also the current chairman of the African Union.

According to the Senegalese news agency, "the date and modalities of this address will be agreed upon. As a reminder, President Zelenski had contacted his Senegalese counterpart on April 11, asking him to give him the opportunity to address the heads of state and government of AU countries.
