President Biya appoints new military commanders to the Northwest Region

The president of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the armed forces has appointed new military commanders to head the Northwest west Region.
The Northwest Region under the 5th joint military Region covers the Northwest and West Regions with a command post in Bamenda.
The new commanders were appointed by presidential decree No:2022/2992signed on Thursday 14th July 2022.
In the decree, Brigadier General Bouba Dobekreo takes over from Brigadier General Nka Valere, while Housseini Djibo replaces Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine Nnoko.
Nka Valere and Ekongwese Nnoko we note played key roles in fighting separatist activities in the NORTHWEST Region and also fought hard to curb their activities in the neighboring West region.
