Options Sports Bamenda U17 National Youth Football Champions

Options Sports Academy Bamenda, Northwest Region, has emerged as this year's champions of the National Youth Football Tournament for U17 that took place in Yaounde.
The Northwest representatives defeated AS Terre of Litoral by 3 goals to nil to win their first national tournament.
The first half of the game ended with no goal on either side.
It was only during the second half that the Bamenda-based team scored three times.
At the end of the day Options Sports Academy of Bamenda was crowned the U17, National Youth Football Champions for the first time. Two of the players of Options Sports were awarded at the competition.
Musa Yaya was awarded best player of the competition, while Tabot Etaka won the Golden Shoe.
Throughout the competition, Options Sports conceded only a single goal in four games and scored 12 times.
Options Sports Academy, reached the Northwest Regional League mini interpools semi-finals for the first time and also won the youth tournament.
The finals of the competition were attended by the Vice president of FECAFOOT, Celine, and other dignitaries and took place at the Stade Reference GP Melen.
