National Observatory predicts floods and landslides in some parts of the South West region

The National Observatory has predicted that they will be heavy rains, floods, and landslides in some parts of the Southwest region.

The National Observatory report released on Thursday 29 June revealed that Limbe and other towns along the coast of the Southwest region would be greatly affected adding that these heavy rains, floods, and landslides will increase the chances of water-borne diseases.

We observe that Kumba is already experiencing some of the negative effects of the national observatory predictions.

Yesterday in Kang Barombi Kumba 3 subdivision, three children were carried away as a result of an overflowing stream due to the heavy rains of July 1.
