MEME: Separatists destroy hotel constructed by Konye Council; one killed, one wounded

Ambazonian separatists fighting for the restoration of the former British colony of Southern Cameroons, Thursday 24th June 2022 attacked and destroyed an ultra-modern hotel being constructed by the Konye Council, Meme division Southwest Region.
The separatists, who identified themselves as ADF, killed one of the workers and wounded another.
It should be noted that the Konye Gendarmerie brigade is located behind this building.
After several attacks last year, the military moved the Konye military camp to Ikiliwindi mile 12.
BiVoundi24 News recalls that due to the Anglophone crisis, the Konye Council and other Government offices now operate in the Meme Divisional headquarters of Kumba.
