MEME: Chief of Wone-Bakundu; Bursar of CCAS Kumba is dead!

The death of the traditional ruler of Wone-Bakundu along the Kumba-Mamfe road, Meme Division Southwest Region has been announced.
Chief Njosomo Martin Njemo, who was also the Bursar of Cameroon College of Arts and Science, CCAS Kumba, and Government Secondary School Nkamalikum died on Friday 17 June 2022 after a brief illness we have been informed.
According to family members, he died in a mission medical institution where he went for a routine medical checkup.
The Meme and Southwest Chiefs Conferences, groups in which he actually participated have not yet reacted to his demise.
Chief Njosomo had worked in several government institutions in Meme before his death.
Before being posted to CCAS, Kumba, Chief Njosomo Martin Njemo was a teacher in Konye under Dr. Tarzi Andrew as principal.
He was posted to Kumba when the Anglophone crisis broke out, simultaneously serving as Bursar of CCAS Kumba and GSS Nkamalikum in Kumba 1.
Like most traditional rulers in the restive Northwest and Southwest regions, Chief Njosomo Martin Njemo hardly visited his Chiefdom.
Won-Bakundu is one of the separatist strongholds along the Kumba-Mamfe road.
Funeral arrangements are still being awaited.
