Marriott International withdraws from the Marriott Douala project
Updated: Jul 30, 2022

As a result of the findings made by our colleagues at Equinoxe TV, the brand is withdrawing from the Douala-Dikolo project.
The Marriott International group terminates its agreement with the Marriott Douala project. Specifically in the marketing and customer-related areas, in which it had been active from the start. Following the revelations made by our Equinoxe TV colleagues, the sign retracts.
"This firm recalls again its commitment to the scrupulous respect of human rights, which have been violated in Dikolo - Douala and the Marriott group specifies once again that it is neither owner, nor partner, nor operator of the hotel project, "writes our source on its Facebook page this Saturday, July 23, 2022.
Liza Ravenscroft, Marriott International's head of communications for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, who is headquartered in London, provided Equinoxe TV with this unique update.
