A 61-year-old man recently realized that his name has been spelled incorrectly his entire life after viewing a copy of his birth certificate. Here is a video of his response when he learned:
The official document states that Allan Grainger, who has always spelled his name with two Ls, is actually called Alan Grainger, giving the expression "take the L" a whole new meaning.
Allan has accrued a significant number of legal documentation during his six decades on the earth, including his marriage certificate and driver's license, both of which bear his false identity.
As you might expect, the father of two was incredulous when his family learned about the error this past weekend.
