Mamfe Diocese has a new Bishop

Father Aloysius Fondong Abangalo is now the new Bishop of the Mamfe diocese.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Mamfe is a diocese located in the town of Mamfe in the ecclesiastical province of Bamenda in Cameroon. The said diocese saw the episcopal ordination of Bishop Aloysius Abangalo Fondong on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
At the time of his appointment, he was in Italy, ever since 2019, where he was finishing a doctorate in canon law at the Pontifical Urbaniana University. A new man of God has just been installed at the head of this diocese. Archbishop Aloysius was born on June 5, 1973, in Limbe, in the diocese of Buea. He holds a degree in canon law from the Catholic University of Central Africa UCAC (2011-2014). He studied philosophy and theology at the Grand Séminaire Interdiocésain Saint Thomas d'Aquin de Bambui, in Bamenda.
