LIMBE: Hosting National Interpools postponed

The 2022 edition of the National Interpools Competition that was slated to be hosted this August by the City of Limbe has indefinitely been postponed by the Cameroon Football Governing Body (FECAFOOT) we have been informed.


The tournament was expected to bring together one football team from the other nine regions of the country who emerged champions in their regional competition.

Victoria United alias OPOPO emerged Southwtest Champions and representative after beating Bright Stars equally of Limbe by four goals to zero. The finals took place on Sunday 17th July.


The Hill Top Strikers of Bamendakwe emerged the Northwest Region's representative.


Before the postponment of the Interpools, the champions of the other eight regions had not been made public.


Meantime, FECAFOOT has not advanced any reason for the postponment.
