Kumba: Separatists set ablaze a truck carrying a transformer.

Separatists, fighting to restore the former British colony of southern Cameroons Sunday 29th May 2022 at Ikiliwindi along the Kumba Mamfe road set ablaze a semi-truck carrying an electric transformer we have learned.

We further gathered that the transformer was being conveyed to Mamfe in the Manyu division.

The electric transformer, we learned was being transported in a truck owned by the mayor of Mamfe though this has not been independently confirmed. The driver of the truck, who spotted the separatists far off escaped unscathed into the lush forest.

The Kumba Mamfe stretch of road has been a nightmare to travelers since the separatists took up arms against the Government of Cameroon as hardly a day goes by without clashes between the two belligerents.
