KUMBA: Head of Muslim community appeals to youths to desist from drug consumption
The head of the Kumba Muslim community has appealed to Muslim youths to desist from drug consumption crimes and other societal ills.
Sarki Halilu Mohammed was speaking to the press at the end of the celebration marking the Muslim feast of the Ram that took place on Saturday 9th July 2022.
He further told the press that Islam is a religion of peace and that they will continue preaching peace.
The British-trained petroleum engineer became chief of the Kumba Muslim community following the death of his brother Chief Adamu Mohammed Uba last year.
He was officially introduced to the public on Saturday 24th July 2021.
