KUMBA : Deputy City mayor loses mum

The mother of the Second Deputy mayor of the Kumba City Council, Sako Macmillan, Nyasare Catherine Sako has gone home to be with her ancestors.

Nyasare Catherine Sako, who died on Saturday 9th April was buried at the family residence at Alaska street Kumba 1 on Saturday 14th May 2022 after a church service at the Church of Christ Buea road.

Speaking to this reporter immediately after the burial, Sako MacMillan said the late mother was a dedicated Christian, who devoted her entire life to Christ and to the service of humanity, adding that she loved everybody, especially children.

He also recalled that the late mother loved doing things on her own, and she was on her way to the market to do some purchases when she was knocked down by a commercial bike. She was later conveyed to the hospital and died three days after that accident

Mami Nyasare Catherine Sako, who died at the age of 80 years was born in Dikome Balue Ndian Division in 1942. She was married to Mr. Sako Emmanuel of blessed memory. She leaves behind five children family members, friends, and well-wishers to mourn her
