Kumba City mayor appointed board member of FEICOM


The Kumba City mayor Gregory Mewanu has been appointed by President Paul Biya as one of the twelve board members of the Special Council Support Fund known by its French acronym as FEICOM.


Gregory Mewanu appointment was appointed by a presidential decree signed on Friday 18 June 2022.


As a board member of FEICOM, Mewanu becomes one of the decision-makers of that body.


Gregory Mewanu was elected premier Government Delegate of Kumba City Council by 75 councilors evenly drawn from Kumba 1, Kumba 2, and Kumba 3 on October 22, 2020.

He officially took over from the late Victor Ngoh Nkelle in the presence of the current Meme SDO, Ntou'Ndong Chamberlain on the 28th of October 2020.


Following his appointment, Meme elites have already sent a motion of thanks to the Head of State, President Paul Biya.
