Kumba: Catholic Diocese to organize requiem mass for victims of the Bombe Bakundu accident

The Kumba Catholic Diocese has made known its intention to organize a requiem mass for the victims of the Bombe Bakundu road accident on Saturday 9th July 2022 that claimed 13 lives.
The church's intention was made known in a pastoral letter dated 10th July, captioned condolence message to all the victims affected by the ghastly road accident at Bombe Bakundu on Saturday 9th July 2022.
In his letter, Bishop Agapitus Nfon said the church regrets the accident that took the lives of 13 precious souls, among them adults, youths, and children, adding that in a time like this no word can console the bereaved for the loss of their loved ones.
Quoting Romans 14:7, the Bishop declared the death of every human being affects all of us since we are created in God's image, adding it is the prayerful wish of the church to pray for the family of the bereaved, draw closer to them spiritually and morally inorder to strengthen them. He added that whenever expedient the church would organize a requiem mass for the souls of the departed in the Lord.
