Kumba 1 Mayor receives Life Time Group Media Award for Excellence

The Mayor of the Kumba I, Subdivisional council; Prince Barrister Eseme Moses Esembe has received the Life Time Group Media Award for Excellence in the gold category.

The award was handed to the mayor in his office in the presence of some of his collaborators on Tuesday 11th July 2022 by the publisher and CEO of Life Time magazine and Life Time newspaper Tim Finian, who was also accompanied by some of his close collaborators.

Before handing out the award, Tim told the Mayor that when his name was proposed for the award he sent out his team to authenticate the selection adding the findings confirmed the Mayor was development oriented and focused.

He further explained that the Mayor was among one of the 30 persons, selected most of them youths.

He informed the Mayor and his collaborators that the award ceremony proper took place in Bafoussam on June 25th under the patronage of the governor of the Western Region, Awa Fonka Augustine adding he regretted Mayor Eseme was not informed on time.

After receiving the award, mayor Eseme thanked the Life Time media Group for honoring him with the award, which according to him suggests he is being monitored within and without

The award, he went on, would instead spur him to carry out more developmental projects in his municipality
