Indomitable Lions to camp in Oman to train for 2022 FIFA World Cup

According to the Sohar Club, Cameroon's national football team has submitted a request to set up its camp in the wilayat of Sohar, North Batinah governorate, for the World Cup where the team will hold its training camp from November 10 to 19.’
According to a ministry official, the sultanate is working with the Oman Football Association to entice a few teams to camp in the sultanate to acclimate before the competition begins. He confirmed that Oman possesses international-standard sports facilities that will aid the teams' preparation for the competition.
Cameroon has been drawn in Group G with Brazil, Serbia, and Switzerland, led by coach Rigobert Song. While the Africans have never met any of the European teams in the competition, they have faced Brazil twice and lost both times – in 1994 and 2014.
