Cameroon's football is in sorrow. Modeste M'bami, a former international football player, passed away this past Saturday, December 7, in Havre, France, from a heart attack. The Yaoundé native retires from the scene at the age of 40.
Samuel Eto'o's former teammate Modeste M'bami was renowned for his competitive attitude, skill, and intelligence. Modeste M'bami won the Olympic Games in 2000 with the Indomitable Lions.
