FIFA rejects Algeria's appeal against Cameroon

Algeria's World Cup qualifying play-off against Cameroon was rejected. The Algerian federation released this statement this past Saturday.

In their first leg against Cameroon, the Fennecs won 1-0. In the return leg at home, they lost 2-1 on a game-ending goal from Karl-Toko Ekambi.

The Algerian Federation appealed to FIFA because of an issue with the refereeing in a recent match.

FIFA has denied Algeria's appeal.
