Did the Algerian Football Federation appeal for a rematch against Cameroon? Answer from FIFA Boss

The Algerian team beat Cameroon 1-0 in the first leg, then lost again 1-2 after the return game played in Algiers.
Immediately after the match, the Algerian federation said it was requesting FIFA for a rematch of the second leg against Cameroon due to “mistakes made” by Gambia referee Bakhari Kassama and affecting the outcome of the match.
FIFA President, Infantino reacted to a query regarding the potential of replaying the match owing to refereeing faults in a press release published by Algerian media: "I am not aware of this request," the Algerian Federation said, implying that it did not send. A letter concerning the competition to "FIFA"!
"Algeria put in a good performance, but it was football," Infantino added.
