Deaflympics: Cameroon Male Handball team fails to show up
According to officials of the ongoing 24th edition of the Deaflympics, Cameroon failed to present a male handball team.
It is worth noting here that Cameroon was drawn to play in Group A of the Deaflympics handball competition along with Brazil (host), Germany, Serbia, and Kenya.
As a result of this no-show, Cameroon automatically lost her match against Kenya which was scheduled to hold on the 3rd of May, and eventually lost against Brazil for the May 5th match.
Cameroon has a total of 16 competitors (all male) taking part in this year's Deaflympics with a total of 2267 competitors (1521 male and 746 female) taking part in the games.
A total of 72 countries are present for the games held in Caxias Do Sul, Brazil.
