Canada: Cameroonian drowns in a river while trying to save a friend

The victim Kevin Timneu Fezeu, a student at the University of Laval was trying to save Christelle Marielle Kouassi who fell into the St. Charles River. Unfortunately, the particularly strong flow and the level of the water probably did not help them.

According to local sources, this Sunday, May 30, 2022, the two young people would have gone, with two other students, on the bridge of the Saint-Charles River, which connects the sectors Duberger and Les Saules, to take pictures. The young Cameroonian died while trying to save his comrade who fell into the Saint-Charles River. An event that was supposed to take place on the same day in the Saint-Charles River was canceled due to the high water level.
