Cameroon takes over as chair of AU’s Peace and Security Council |+video
For the month of May, Cameroon will preside over the Peace and Security Council to help with the prevention and resolution of conflicts in Africa.
As chair of the council, Cameroon is going to cover ten substantive meetings for the African Union. These meetings will be about security and governance in Africa, and we can expect disaster preparedness and response to be prioritized.
Cameroon's permanent representative to the AU says that this meeting will be an opportunity for African countries to examine and compare their struggles.
