Cameroon's Center region's governor launches the 2022 poliomyelitis campaign

The Governor of the Central Region, Naseri Paul Bea launched this Friday the regional vaccination campaign against polio.
Polio is a highly infectious viral disease that affects mostly children under 5 years. Those from 1 to 5 years, will also receive deworming tablets of Mebendazole and vitamin A to children from 6 months to 5 years, informs CRTV.
In the Central Region, children under 5 years old will be vaccinated against polio. The campaign team will go door-to-door, visiting public places to vaccinate children from 0 to 59 months.
