Cameroon: Fecafoot terminates deal with Le Cop Sportif

The French sportswear maker Le Cop Sportif has been fired, according to the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot). In a statement on June 24, acting Fecafoot Secretary-General Blaise Djounang announced the decision would go into effect immediately following the 2022 Women AfCON. the 23rd of July 2022.
According to the statement, "The president of Fecafoot aims to investigate new prospects for collaboration with an equipment manufacturer that honors its commitments and is pleased to link its image with the label of the national football teams of Cameroon."
On June 7, 2019, in Montpellier, a new agreement was struck between Fecafoot and Le Coq Sportif. It was supposed to extend until 2023. However, Minister Mouelle claimed he saw a significant shortfall in the number of available sporting goods and equipment.
