Cameroon Army: Graduation of the 2021 Batch of Commandos of the BIR

The ceremony which took place at the BIR Base in Man O War Bay on Friday the 22nd of April 2022 in the presence of local authorities and the population was placed under the authority of the Major General commanding the schools and training centers.

With several thousand men, multipurpose warfare equipment on land, sea, and air, and adequate training, the elements of the BIR now play a leading role in the defense of the territory.

The BIR is involved in securing the Bakassi peninsula, the fight against road blockers, and Boko Haram, among other things.

The ceremony saw the graduation of 2,300 elite commandos who will be put on the ranks of the Battalion.
