BUEA: Three UB teachers abducted by masked men

The whereabouts of three University of Buea teachers, who were abducted on campus on Friday 8th, July 2022 by masked men wielding machetes believed to be separatists remains unknown.

The three were abducted while invigilating students writing their examinations.

According to a friend of one of the abductees, the masked men upon getting into that faculty sharing the same structure as the Bulu Blind Centre, the students were given 3 seconds to leave the premises.

The three invigilators were then taken to an unknown destination and nothing has since been heard from them. The government has been silent on the issue.

The abduction of these teachers comes at a time when the government is saying calm and serenity now reigns in the two Anglophone regions.
