Breaking: No direct entry into Civil Service for graduates of ENS & ENSET as from 2023

In a letter addressed to the Secretary-general at the Services of the Prime Minister, ministers Joseph Le of Public Service and Fame Ndongo of Higher Education have jointly proposed separation of training of teachers in ENS and ENSET from their direct recruitment into the public service from 2023. According to these ministers, this comes as part of the implementation of the presidential measures aimed at regularizing the situation of teachers.
The two members of the government urged the head of government to consider the year 2022 as a transitional year during which the Minister of Higher Education would proceed with the organization of entrance examinations to the Ecoles Normales Supérieures (ENS) and the Ecoles Normales Supérieures de l'Enseignement Technique (ENSET).
But also to proceed to the cleaning of the texts organizing the ENS and ENSET, with regard to what appeared to be a contradiction between the regulatory provisions governing the access to the aforementioned schools and that of integration into the civil service. Further on, they ask the Prime Minister to separate from the year 2023, the functions of training, and those of integration into the civil service
