Breaking: AFCON Ivory Coast 2023 to be played in January-February 2024 (CAF)

Africa's football confederation, CAF, has announced that the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 to be hosted by the Ivory Coast will run from January–February 2022.
This Sunday, July 3, 2022, during its meeting in Morocco, CAF Executive Committee made the decision.
After the deluge of rain that pounded the Ivory Coast in June of this year, the news had been rumored for a few weeks. In light of this catastrophe, it was discussed whether it would be feasible to hold the CAN in Ivory Coast in June or July considering the likelihood of heavy rainfall during this time.
