BABADJOU: vigilant groups equipped to fight amba incursions

Vigilante groups in Babadjou, Bamboutous, of the West Region have been armed with motorbikes and other gadgets to help curb separatist incursions from the neighboring Northwest Region.

The motorbikes were handed to the various vigilante groups leaders recently.

The gesture according to donors, aims to watch over the locality that has had several attacks from separatists, adding the bikes would also be used to enable the vigilantes easily move at night to check what is going on in the locality.

The gifts, we gathered were acquired thanks to contributions made by the Elite of the locality.

BABADJOU, it should be recalled has come under attack since the conflict in the two English-speaking regions.
