An Anglophone IDP is beaten to near-death by her husband for speaking dialect with her kid

An internally displaced Anglophone temporarily living with her husband in Nkongsamba, Western Region, was recently beaten to near-death by the husband.
Emelda Bih is from Oku in the NORTHWEST Region, while the husband is from the Littoral Region.
The couple had sought refuge in Nkongsamba owing to the ongoing Anglophone crisis.
Emelda's only crime is that her husband found her speaking the Oku dialect with their child
The husband has since been detained by the police for questioning.
